That Chevy looks very similar to a Honda Civic with an Acura TL rear.

Any news on whether they will ship this internationally? It probably the first EV I’ve seen (reasonably priced one anyway) that I would buy.

I’m not sure there will be an all electric Volt. It’s not that easy. The Volt’s battery is greatly packaged in the center of the car, that would spoil everything if you replace the front gasoline motor with an extra battery pack. Unless of course that battery pack has such a small capacity that it would not add weight to the front wheels. The electric Volt would not have a long range then…

I really hope they ship it over here, since they stopped selling the trucks all we have here is re-badged Daewoos! Chevy isn’t what chevy was… Which is both good and bad. This could be a nice restart for the make.

I agree totally, since surveys show that must drivers do a lot of city driving and the average commute is 25 – 40 miles. The problem is people want ranges of 100 – 150 miles even though they don’t drives does distances. With all technologies they improve with time and research and there are many nay say’ers then the future will usher in a full generation of electric cars freeing us from dreaded gasoline & diesel.

Good news that more and more industries come up with eco-friendly outputs, as their own initiative or as support for the campaign to fight global warming. We have to give our commendations to prototyping manufacturers who are a part in making this endeavor realized.

I am hearing about this car from last one year and I am very curious about this car about how it performs when it launched. I hope it up to the expectations.
